I’m glad to say we’ve found the happiest possible ending to a very sad story.

Reverend Run and his wife, Justine, lost their biological baby last year when the baby was born with a rare congenital illness. However, they have since adopted an American baby, who they’ve named Miley Justine Simmons. She’s been with the family for three months, and she’s four months old now.

“The more you mourn, the more you want to mourn. I would have landed in depression,” Justine Simmons tells Us Weekly. “I wanted a girl really bad, and I knew I wasn’t going to try again.”

  • Yayyyyy-I’m so happy for them!!! They deserve it so much, I felt really bad for them when they lost their baby before. They both seem like wonderful parents & that baby girl is very lucky! HUGE congratulations to them!!! =)

    Now I have to bitch about the name. I love the name, hate the spelling. Why? Because four years ago I named my daughter the same thing (before the whole annoying Miley Cyrus phenomenon started), except it’s spelled the correct way: Maile. And yes, there is a correct way to spell it (it’s Hawaiian). I guess it’s better than them trying to spell it “Myleigh” or “Myleeeeee” or “Mylzdslk”. I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot of that in years to come, though.

    Ok. Enough bitching and making this about me.

  • My family and I also lost our baby daughter around the same time the Simmons family lost theirs. I sit here crying tears of joy for them and their good fortune. Unfortunately, my family isnt as blessed in the finance department as the Simmons family so please say a pray for us as we are hoping to try again. Congrats!!!

  • I lost my brother at birth too. So i know how the family feels. victoria must be smiling up form heaven. She’s probily playing with my little brother right now. Their telling each other about easch others family.
    Victoria is saying ” guess what, my mommy and daddy just adoted a baby that needed a loving familie like mine. Sayee ”my brother”. Is telling victoria that his family misses him very much, and he’ll be back very soon. God took them for a very good reason. Mr. and Ms. Simmons your very lucky to have baby miley part of your beautiful family.

  • heyy its me carli!, im 11 years old, im in 6th grade and i love babies so much i think there adorible. thats a great thing that u got a baby girl, there so cute,its so much fun to find the perfect outfit for them, and dressing them in the cutest adorablest outfits. I LOVE YOU SHOW (RUNS HOUSE) SO MUCH! good luck with the new baby, im sure she’ll be a handfull but in a good way.
