What you’re looking at is a picture of Orlando Bloom’s $2.7M L.A. mansion, which he recently opted to paint black, pissing off neighbors like Charlize Theron and Scarlett Johannson.
“Charlize and Scarlett were a bit taken aback,” a source tells British tab The Sun. “Most go for white, but Orlando went completely the other way. It’s a bit weird, but that’s Orlando – he’s an original guy.”

$2.7 million does not spell “mansion,” certainly not in LA it doesn’t anyway. From the picture that actually does look like a pretty modest house, too. All the more reason to appreciate the choice – not only does he paint it black, but he doesn’t feel the need to live in an over-inflated, 10,000-square-foot mcmansion with his own private theater and three pools and all that tacky, ostentatious garbage the celebrities seem to prefer these days.
