Carrie Underwood better watch her back.

Dancing with the Stars champ Julianne Hough has just inked a deal with Universal Music Group’s Mercury Nashville label and is planning to have a country single released in early 2008.

Isn’t it going to take longer than that to teach her how to sing? Or do we just have technology for that now?

I appreciate the link provided by G. White

However, this was my first chance to hear her sing, and I forsee a great future for her in country music. She has it all… natural expressive voice, wonderful range, and definitely beauty.

Don’t think she needs much training in how to sing. I’ll definitely buy her album.

She’s already been trained to sing for years at the reknowned Italia Contie Performing Arts School in London and was part of minor pop music trio as a youngster. Listen to the full version of “That Song in My Head” on her website http://www.juliannehough.com, and you will see she clearly can sing and write songs.
