I listened to it once, and I was like, “Dude, this doesn’t suck as much as everyone said it did.” But I figured I must just be way high, so I listened to it again. And again. And now I’ve been listening to it all damn weekend, and you know what, motherfuckers?
It rocks.
I’m hooked.
It’s a good. Fucking. Album.
Like, damn near every song is awesome. Basically every song could be a single. “Toy Soldier” is my favorite, but they’re all solid.
And I couldn’t be happier. I was really, really wanting this album to be good, and Britney (well, Britney’s producers) pulled it off.

I’m sorry to say that I like Brit Brit’s album and can’t be snarky about it. Damn, it’s killing me. *sigh*
I’ve heard that she’s currently filming a new movie. It’s called:
“The Abandonment of Sean Preston and Jayden James by that total minging bitch Britney Spears.”
Oh wait, that’s not a movie she’s filming, that’s her life! Mah bad, that one’s on me.
I dunno…Gimme More went on and on, I just skipped it. Piece of Me sounded derivative, unoriginal, and overproduced and I don’t care about it or what she’s singing. It’s electronica-ish, which I like, but…it sounded like a boring form of it. Radar. Meh. Her voice is too electronic-ized…everything sounded like old pop to me; nothing trend setting, or new or whatever. It sounded OLD. Nothing that will last. Break the Ice depressed me…it was only one of the 4 that was ok, but I’ve already forgotten it. Heaven on Earth…unoriginal. Get Naked … it reminded me of another song. It just sounded like the billions of albums out there already, from the 80s, 90s, 00s. too busy sound-wise…boring, boring, boring. Freakshow…meh. It’s barely Britney’s own voice, like most of the songs. Also, sounded like another song. Toy Soldier: …. ah, yawn.
I think this is the kind of pop I hate, just too, too busy, too “look at me” sound production. Skipped 9. #10: maybe. I think I’d get sick of it pretty fast. By the time #11 came around, I was like, omg, AGAIN?! another song about being hot for someone? geez, I get it. the beat…same old, same old. so, I skipped this one too. #12 … I kind of tuned it out. Man, this was a boring shallow album. I think this whole pop electronic hip hop way overproduced her stuff is so not her scene … one more reason for her to get out of Dodge.
And yeah, it’s all about Britney. THAT’S THE PROBLEM!!!! THAT, APPARENTLY, HAS BEEN THE PROBLEM. Sheesh.
Pop like this is totally the wrong direction for her imo. And there are literally hundreds of better and more interesting artists, musicians, and singers out there. I really wish she’d just give up this whole thing, go to the middle of nowhere and be real human being. omg, the album’s starting over again…i have to turn itof….
I like the fact that common folk can spot an overproduced album, please. It’s a good fucken album deal with it.
Sure, define good. imo, and that’s in my OPINION it’s a boring album. Yeah, I know overproduced but if you want to argue, then IN MY OPINION it’s overproduced. Blah.
