Issac did have a pulmonary embolism. And he recovered fully, thankfully. He’s married, Nikki, and has a daughter with her. In fact, all of them are married and Taylor has three children. I went to the next concert they performed after the surgery in Richmond, VA and they rocked out. They are excellent performers. The tour, backing their latest album, The Walk, is continuing today. Many procedes (in fact, all sales from online album purchases) go to furthering the education of children in Africa. Their website, hanson.net, sells Thompson Shoes, which, when you buy a pair, donates a pair to a child in Africa. I’m very proud of them and, obviously, a great fan.
All that said, in the 90’s when they first hit the scene, I thought they were one of the best girl groups out there. Well, let me specific. I knew Isaac (center inthe photo) was a guy. I wasn’t sure about Zac, guy, girl, or other. However, I knew, KNEW, Taylor was a girl. For a fact. Even when I heard the name, I was like “yep. see. a girl.” Oops. :)
