Stewart Townsend is Confused

charlize.jpg

Regarding his girlfriend of seven years, Charlize Theron, Townsend said:

“I’m married. I didn’t do a church wedding or anything, but we’re married. We’re husband and wife. We didn’t have a ceremony. I don’t need a certificate or the state or the church to say otherwise. So no there’s no big official story on a wedding, but we are married. … I consider her my wife and she considers me her husband.”

Does this make sense to anyone else?

  • He’s not confused. It sounds like they’re very devoted to each other and don’t need to legally define their relationship. If it works for them, that’s awesome.

  • Well if he wants to be considered to be married so bad perhaps they should actually get married. If you’re not married, you’re not fucking married. That’s all.

  • S- back when there were no laws regulating marraige, people still were considered married. paper and mans law aren’t abosolute. i know someone that got married on paper and is getting divorced. now they have to go work out a lot of paperwork. people who are common lawed married probably stay togerther longer anyway.

  • Good for them, if they are happy that’s all that matters, it’s only a piece of paper, that piece of paper doesn’t mean that a person is quarnteed to be faithful, that comes from within their hearts!!!

  • So not really on the same topic as your post, but I found this today and I just can’t resist sharing. Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told him, “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you the check. Oh, and by the way…don’t worry about my Doberman. He won’t bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT under ANY circumstances talk to my parrot!” When the repairman arrived at Mrs. Agathe’s apartment the next day, he discovered the biggest and meanest looking Doberman he had ever seen. But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”

  • I have been looking around on the internet hoping to get ideas on the way to get my personal weblog coded, your present style together with design are great. Did you code it yourself or did you recruit a coder to do it on your behalf?
