Kim Kardashian just loves to get naked for the cameras. The voluptuous daughter of O.J. Simpson lawyer Robert Kardashian recently stripped down for Playboy. “The photos have been already shot. I don’t know if they show everything,” a source tells us. Presumably, the snaps won’t show as much as the notorious sex tape Kardashian made with rapper Ray J. Meanwhile, Kim was partying Saturday with Denise Richards at the Playboy Mansion at a benefit for the Nicole Brown Foundation.
Who cares about Playboy. What I want to talk about it why the hell Kim thought it was in any way appropriate for her to attend anything with Nicole Brown’s name on it. For those of you who don’t remember who Kim was before she was the chick with the ass who was partying with Paris — she’s Robert Kardashian’s daughter. That’s right, she’s the daughter of the dude who got OJ Simpson off for the murder of Nicole Brown. Really, Kim? You can’t think of anywhere better to be on a Saturday night? And who the hell invited her to this thing, anyway?

Um, what? It’s a pretty widely recognized tenet of our legal system that everyone is entitled to representation and that as a corollary, no attorney should be held responsible for his or her client’s actions. Why should KK have to take responsibility for the actions of one of her father’s clients? Should the children of ACLU attorneys who represented neo-Nazi groups in Skokie be barred from synagogue? Should the child of an attorney who does work for the Catholic church be prevented from attending a sexual abuse fundraiser? Any event hosted at the Playboy mansion isn’t going to be tainted by the three-degrees-of-separation appearance of an attorney’s daughter, which certainly isn’t tantamount to pissing on anyone’s grave.

Babs, there’s a difference between what the tenets of our legal system may imply and the way things are going to look to outside observers. You know, to those of us who didn’t go to law school and don’t care whether or not we “should” hold her or her father responsible for OJ getting off. If Nicole Brown were your daughter, you wouldn’t be thinking about “tenets,” you’d just be like “What the fuck was that little bitch doing at that party?” Kim should have known better. There are plenty of parties in L.A. on a Saturday night, and this was way uncool of her.

I have to imagine that if my daughter were a victim of a crime like this, I wouldn’t shift the blame to anyone else involved in the process: not the jury, opposing counsel, the media, or the police. Only one person is responsible here, and shifting culpability to anyone else makes O.J. less than 100% responsible.

Kim’s mother was a very good friend of Nicole Brown, so obviously Kim would’ve known Nicole as well. And I agree that it is beyond Kim’s control that her dad was one of the largest slimeballs in recent history. However, it is still pretty tacky to use the situation as a photo op . But she was there because she knew the woman personally, not because of the connection her father had to her.

wow I stumbled on this page trying to find out where she got all of her money from, and I came across this. wow who gives a sht. I mean hell her dad did his and did it well. If I ever kill someone I know how to call.

i’m going to have to side with every word that Streisand_disciple and Jess said. though i fully understand the points that Evil Beet and LMAO! we’re trying to make. i agree that certain people might, and obviously Evil Beet did, make the negative connection. Kim Kardashian is simply not her father, thus she is not responsible for his actions, and neither her sexual past nor her playboy photo shoot are at all relevant to this subject. one can only conclude that you’re only interested in insulting her either out of some sort of jealousy or that you’ve really got nothing better to do with your life.
i’m 20 years old, i live with my parents, and i barely make minimum wage bussing tables at a Red Robin in Trevose PA, and i used to, until just now, feel that my job was meaningless.
