Check out “A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints”; this movie proves he can act. It is the true story of the author and director, Dito Montiel’s life. Shia plays childhood Montiel, while Robert Downey Jr. plays grown-up Montiel. Hottie hottie Channing Tatum is also in it, as is Rosario Dawson. Good movie.
Yes, he is the next big thing because of his “acting skills.” We don’t see much of these anymore, but I’m told that at one time they were important.
