Aw, what a shitty way to make your “final public appearance” before surrendering two days early to authorities and going to jail. Sarah Silverman opened the MTV Movie Awards with a monologue ripping Paris Hilton to shreds — with Paris in the audience. Listen to the crowd go wild while Paris sits there trying not to cry.

I’m actually bummed that MTV only showed a few brief shots of Par-Par during this. Someone over there has tape of her face throughout the entire monologue, and that’s what I wanna see. Come on, MTV!!! Release that tape!!!

There had been buzz that Paris was actually going to present an award last night, which may have been untrue — or Paris backed out after Silverman’s live diss.

  • I actually *gasp!* felt bad for Paris when this ugly bitch said that about her. LIke… it wasn’t even funny. But Paris took it with style.

    LIke whatever, I secretly find joy in her being behind bars too, but only because I think she needs to be humbled… not put down and mocked by some dumb girl trying to get a few laughs in. Paris has enough shit coming at her over the next few weeks. That chick just took it too far.

  • Watching Paris held up for public humiliation was ugly. And the ugliest part about it was …. it was sexual humiliation…..the sight of that old creepy man, Jack Nicholson, leering at the fellatio jokes made me want to sick in my mouth.

    Sarah Silver man is 30 times more attractive than paris. She has an intellect for one. She eats 2. And to top it all off she actually is famous for something other than someone else’s merits.

  • Finally, the pendulum swings back the other way. Sometimes the only way to fight ugly is with funny. She (Paris) had all the time (and means) in the world to do something with her platform, and she did nothing worth anything.

    Beyond the fashion and the hype and the cameras and the money there is a world that cannot be ignored. It’s a world where people die everyday for a myriad of reasons, most of which could be remedied if people with the time and means like Miss Hilton gave a damn about anything but themselves.

    But let’s be realistic here. It is easy to see why Miss Hilton is the way she is. Look at her family and her upbringing. This behavior was definitely bred into her. However, one cannot deny the fact that she has traveled far and wide, and there is a really good chance that Miss Hilton is familiar with current events.

    Let’s not forget she is (26?) years old, as in old enough to know the ways of the world. So in the end Paris has really made it hard for us to like her, and easy for some of us to poke fun at her.

    Sarah said what everyone was thinking, that’s all. And yes, even I felt sorry for Miss Paris, because like most people in this world I have a heart and a sense of sympathy for even the most unlikely of characters. However, at the end of the day it is good to know that even in a crowded room of starlets, behavior like Paris’s will not be tolerated. It was like all the creative geeks in High School finally got back at the high school prom queen in one big hyper jest… a little surreal almost. These things just don’t happen, and then it did.

    The only hope for Miss Paris and Co. (as in anyone who follows suit) is a paradigm shift of sorts. They need to see how hollow the lives they lead actually are… see the desperation and frustration in the world around them, and decide what kind of legacy they want to leave behind. Just imagine Miss Hilton what you could do with all that money and fame.

    How many lives you could save? Oh, and how many people could you feed? OR, how many shoes could you buy?????????????????
