Paris Hilton’s lawyer had planned to file an appeal of Paris’s sentencing decision at 1:30 p.m. today, hoping to get another shot at keeping his client out of jail. However, this morning, her attorney’s office called the court and canceled the meeting. Later in the day, he formally filed a document with the court, abandoning the appeal.

Paris will not, however, serve the full 45 days to which she was originally sentenced. She’ll only do 23 days; the sentence was cut due to “good behavior.” Paris will also be in a special “celebrity cell,” and kept separate from the general population of the prison.

I HATE that she gets a special “celebrity cell”. She broke the law just like “normal” people, so she should be punished just like “normal” people.

  3. 'lise says:

What good behavior? She’s still been driving without a licence all around town. That’s so lame.

  4. Cypress says:

That she agreed to show up and delibertly lie to the court and let her lawyers and publicity man also lie, take the blame for her stupidity and obnoxiousness and consider that good behavior., is also insane

Ya know, who decides who is, and who is not, celebrity enough to get this special treatment? And what about the so-called “common folks” like you and me- they aren’t worthy of protection from violent bullies, predatory dykes, hard core criminals?

If the prison general population is too dangerous for Miss Crotchshot, why is it ok for everyone else? Instead of making special cushy cells for celebs, how about making the prisons secure enough so that its safe for EVERYONE.

That’s American justice for you, another reality show for Paris.
